Plush and perfumed, opening with blackberry, plum and forest berries. Violet, pepper and savoury notes follow, with hints of earth, mocha and spice adding complexity.

PALATE

Rich and concentrated, with generous dark fruit carried by powerful, chalky tannins. Plum and blackberry mingle with savoury spice, cocoa and graphite, retaining freshness despite the wine's depth.

Long and savoury, with persistent dark fruit, cocoa powder, coal dust and spice. Firm tannins provide impressive length and structure, promising graceful development in the cellar.
